Message-ID: <4180ca39-79a5-18d1-fc0d-b1912fa6059a@ronnypfannschmidt.de> Hi, sometime before the pytest sprint and hacking on xdist, i'd like to move execnet to github i plan to do a "lossy" issue conversation (which won't link github users to to bitbucket ones) is there anything directly blocking this? else i'd like to try and get a stab at it sometime this or next weekend another issue is where to put it on github, currently its under holger's account but i think it might be well fit under pytest-dev as well -- Ronny From vishnu at datacubes.com Fri May 20 12:35:59 2016 From: vishnu at datacubes.com (Vishnu Amdiyala) Date: Fri, 20 May 2016 11:35:59 -0500 Subject: [execnet-dev] Error channel closed while connecting from python to Jython. Message-ID: <18C4A8D6-5CE6-4D13-9EDD-8E90BA04A6F9@datacubes.com> Hi All, I have python script which connects to Jython and sometimes I get the below error which is hard to understand why this is being thrown? File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/execnet/gateway_base.py", line 716, in send raise IOError("cannot send to %r" % (self,)) IOError: cannot send to Any insights on this would be helpful! Will this be thrown if I have multiple python processes trying to connect to multiple Pythons at once? Thanks!
