community, including the Django, Zope and Plone communities. It is
aimed at everyone in the Python community, of all skill levels, both
users and programmers.

Last year's conference was the largest open source conference in the
UK and one of the largest community organised software conferences in

This year EuroPython will be held from the 17th to 24th July in
Birmingham, UK. It will include over 100 talks, tutorials, sprints and

I'm trying to register as an extra early bird. After I correct all input 
errors and I get the registration form right and click on "Click here to 
pay with your debit or credit card" or on "Click here to pay by bank 
transfer" on https://secure.romancart.com/payment/checkout.asp, the 
server doesn't answer.

Is anyone with knowledge of the EuroPython financials currently handling
this request or is it something to discuss at the next meeting? (I'm only
on the improve list, so I don't get to see any behind-the-scenes discussion
about financial aid.)

Volunteering to help
- --------------------

EuroPython is run by volunteers. We need you to lend a hand. There are
lots of different tasks that need to be done, before, during and after
the conference. There are tasks to suit all technical abilities. You can
help us to run the whole conference or just pitch up for an hour to
stuff some goodie bags.

Most volunteers will tell you that helping out is a great way to enhance
your conference. You will get to meet and talk with more people and you
can feel smug at the same time.

All you need to do is add your name to the table at:

Please make sure that you create a wiki homepage as instructed in the
paragraph above the table. Then we will know how to contact you.
