simply great!! I especially liked the sentences about the slides, to not 
take animations and "unnneccessary stuff" on the slides!!

I have an additional "cheap trick" to avoid cluttered presentations:

Just imagine you will do your presentation WITHOUT electricity.

(That helps avoiding the most stupid Powerpoint tricks)
