I actually feel our (smug on this point) friends in Europe are particularly
vulnerable on this point.  

And partly because they are likely to achieve *more* success than here in
the standardization of the bureaucracy and the schools around Open Source
infrastructure. Combined with the fact that standardization and
bureaucratization seems less culturally anathema than it tends to be here.  

I am sure Laura agrees ;)
