[Python Edinburgh] Git rebasing (and other stuff)

At the Python Hack Day, John explained Git rebasing to me, and I
thought 'hey, that's kinda cool,' but I wasn't sure why I would
actually use it in anger.

Someone at work just mailed a link to the following slideshow that
explains it *very* clearly: http://perl.plover.com/yak/git/

I'm gradually starting to feel like I understand what Git's doing, and
that's making me feel a bit more comfortable.

PS: Of course, given that we're Python people, we really should be
using Mercurial or Bazaar.
