The warning about HTTPS verification is no longer true (see https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0476/ <https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0476/>) and rather confusing.
This needs clarifying including which exact versions of python do or do not verify by default, with a link for how to restore the old, unverified behaviour.
