[docs] Exponential in python

Hi,
i'm a student of Milan University and i am looking a tutorial of python.My
python version is 3.3.
When i do -2*-2 it's give me 4 but when i do -2**2 give me -4, i'm doing
same thing in two examples but with different result. This happen in all
python version or only in mine?
