[docs] Problem with uppercase

Hello

While trying to build a handler to convert text into UPPERCASE, I discovered that Python, the version available in OSX 10.7.2 fail to convert the character ß 


into its well defined counterpart which is UNICODE $1E9E 



May we hope for such a simple enhancement ?
