Dear Doc SIG members, cocoatomo,
hope all of you are well.

I need help with Transifex,
I got a notification on Nov 3 that new file 0 has been added to project
Python.
Since then, every day I just got a notification about this file 0,
but no other files getting updates from the main documentation.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Dear Doc SIG members,

I just want to update my email below. The problem got fixed.
(still don't know why and how)
I just got a "normal" email from Transfex that describes which files got
updated.
Previously it's only reported that file 0 got updated.

I would like clarification about the one-line docstring
<https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0257/#id16>  example.

 

The Notes say (fourth bullet):

The docstring is a phrase ending in a period. It prescribes the function or
method's effect as a command ("Do this", "Return that"), not as a
description; e.g. don't write "Returns the pathname ...".

 

However the docstring example for kos_root() is:  """Return the pathname of
the KOS root directory."""

 

I've highlighted the areas that seem to contradict each other.  Perhaps the
example should be updated to conform to the notes?
