Remember your first time with HTML? :)

My biggest problem whilst trying to write reST was renumbering
footnotes, actually.

reST is [currently] clean enough that I could paste most email messages
into it and get something sensible out. Add specific parsing for quoted
text (``>``), and it'd do just fine. Hmmm. :)

Tony's very first post would have come out pretty much as he expected.
The bullet list would have come out in a blockquote, but what the hey.
