PyPals strives to spread the knowledge of Python and get students started with development in Python. The Linux Users' Group of our institute promotes FOSS and Linux. We hold regular meetings for discussion on FOSS and software development. We also hold workshops on Python and Python frameworks through the semester. Both the groups, in collaboration, have planned to conduct a two-day Python conference in Manipal. We aim to achieve a style similar to PyCon. There will be a total of 10 speakers, over the course of two days. Each speaker will talk on a topic related to Python, and primarily focus on how they used it on a project they worked on. The goal of the conference is to expose the students to the versatility of Python and how it is used in the industry. Event Name: MUPy (pronounced Mew-Pie) Date: 22nd-23rd, October, 2016 Venue: Manipal, Karnataka, India Website: https://www.pypals.org/?py The call for proposals for the event is now open and we invite you to send your proposals for the same to proposals at pypals.org by the October 3 deadline. The guidelines for the same can be found at https://www.pypals.org/proposal. Hoping for a positive response, Thank you, Yash Kumar Lal -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
