Hello,

FYI, here's a tentative release schedule for Distutils2

1.0a1 - 2010-04-30  (Python 2.7b2)
1.0a2 - 2010-05-28  (Python 2.7rc1 and GSOC starts)
1.0b1 - 2010-06-25 (Python 2.7 final)
1.0b2 - 2010-07-17  (GSOC Mid-term)
1.0c1 - 2010-08-30  (GSOC Ends)
1.0 final - 2010-09-15

We will probably have new releases after 1.0 quite quickly, depending
on the feedback
