[Distutils] Problem using zc.recipe.cmmi to build Python

Or you can even use minitage to have it, see my previous post.

As a short:
virtualenv --no-site-packages f
source f/bin/activate
easy_install minitage.core
minimerge -s
minimerge -v python-2.6
