[Distutils] Setuptools 0.7 release ?

Hi,

We v'e been trying the dev version here and it works great, could it be
released soon, Phillip ?

The SVN 1.5 compatibility problem drives some developers nuts around me :)

I am volunteering for help on this package, if you think that is wise, I can
do releases, tests patches,
add examples to ticket that don't have it, etc..
