[DB-SIG] Informix

Does anyone on the list use Informix?  I'm working 
on Solaris and Linux, and I'd like to have a nice 
Python interface to Informix (SE, OWS, and/or DS).
I've had trouble compiling the informixdb module.  
(Symbol reference errors: "crypt")

I'm interested in anyone's experience with informixdb, 
Kinfxdb, or mxODBC.
