After taking over maintenance, I?ve contacted openssl-core on on 2015-06-30 in that regard but I?ve never received an answer. However, on 2015-08-01 OpenSSL released a blog post > stating that they?re moving to a vanilla Apache License version 2.0. Therefore I haven?t further pursuit it as I assume they don?t want to bother with it anymore. > Am 31.03.2016 um 23:23 schrieb Stephen Hjerpe : > > Hi, > > My understanding is that the OpenSSL license states, "Products derived from this software may not be called "OpenSSL" nor may "OpenSSL" appear in their names without prior written permission of the OpenSSL Project." > > Please provide some reference on the pyOpenSSL site making it clear that this permission has been obtained. > > Thanks, > > Stephen Hjerpe > Development Manager > > stephen.hjerpe at microfocus.com > > (661) 821-8917 > (858) 354-8146 (mobile) > > > _______________________________________________ > Cryptography-dev mailing list > Cryptography-dev at python.org > https://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/cryptography-dev -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
