[C++-sig] strange auto-build problem

The Codewarrior 8 under Windows200 auto-build is failing with messages that I
have not seen before. The CW72 auto-build works fine, and when I run the bjam
command for CW80 at the prompt everything works just fine. David, could you
please have a quick look at http://cci.lbl.gov/boost ? Maybe you have a clue
right away?
One difference between auto-build/manual bjam that comes to mind is that the
pathnames in the auto-build environment are longer. Could this be the problem?
