Message-ID: Hey, all! Sorry if this is a repeat - we've been hearing about delivery failures, plus we have some news to report. First, registration costs are lower than we originally posted - we initially got incorrect food price increases. It took a while to sort out - sorry about that. The prices are on the Spring 2014 ECJ event page . Second, one of our jammers is returning this year with her PhD research project, *You, Me, and the Dance: Developing relationships*. Per rigorous academic standards, participation in the project will be strictly voluntary - and an opportunity to to share our process of finding dance, together, and our perspectives on the practice, via her study. We have details on the site . I'm going to be posting this message to regional mailing lists as well as the outreach list, so sorry about the inundation. Registration is once again healthy, and we expect to fill as has become usual, but we want everyone who wants the opportunity to attend to know about it. Bring in the Spring dancing in rolling West Virginia farmlands at the *Spring 2014 East Coast Jam *, *April 9-13* Mark your calendars, and *register soon .* We're getting this out a bit later than usual - the early-bird deadline is March 22. Come dance, and spread the word! *What*: A four day Contact Improv gathering, with people who love it... *When:* *April 9 *to* 13, 2013*. See the Spring 2014 Jam details page for specifics about registration and attendance options. *Where*: Claymont Court Estates , West Virginia - A sprawling country estate in the Allegheny Mountain foothills, about 15 minutes from Harper's Ferry and a 1.5 hour drive from Washington DC . *To Register:* Visit the registration pagefor full *instructions* and online registration, as well as online and land-mailed payment options. The jam has consistently been filling, so don't wait until the last minute. *Our Jam is a Collaboration - Much like a dance.* Jammers are the Jam. Warmups, workshops, performances, and other structures are initiated and lead by us - the dancers. We also make conversation, music, exploration of weather and sprawling farmland, poetry, chocolate, theater, Apples to Apples, walks - life - it will all be there. Particularly if you bring a bunch with you. See our site's About section for more info about the Spring Jam and the East Coast Jam in general. Please *help to spread the word* by inviting the people you like to dance with, and forwarding this message to interested communities. Word of mouth is a great way to reach the kind of people we're seeking. *Lotsa details at eastcoastjam.com ... Fill the barn again with dance* With love, your spring jam organizers, Jamie, Page, and Ken Christopher Robin came down from the forest to the bridge feeling all sunny and careless and just as if twice nineteen didn't matter a bit - which it didn't on such a happy afternoon - and he thought that if he stood on the bottom rail of the bridge and leant over and watched the river slipping slowly away beneath him then he would suddenly know everything that there was to be known, and he would be able to tell pooh, who wasn't quite sure about some of it. -- A.A.
