We are a theme camp at Burning Man devoted to the exploration of Contact Improvisation. This will be our third year. We offer multiple daily classes in Contact Improvisation at both basic and intermediate/advanced levels as well as jams, labs, and classes in related arts like Authentic Movement, Butoh, partner yoga, martial arts, and vocal improvisation. We are also a place to stay for Contact Improvisors in the social wilderness of Black Rock City (the 40,000 person temporary city constructed at Burning Man. this year, we plan to scale back the size of the camp living experiment to 60 or so dedicated explorers of contact improvisation. So far, we are very excited by some of the folks who are expressing interest inbeing part of it. Come participate. For experienced teachers, get in touch if you want to teach (even if you stay elsewhere at Burning Man).
