One of the projects I'm on retrieves packages from PyPI to perform
software testing, and has been experiencing massive numbers of false
negatives due to constant connection resets since the switch to
HTTPS. We're trying to deal with the fallout as best we can right
now, but any reversion of this change until it's more performant
under load would be much appreciated.
