Perhaps it's a seasonal thing but in the last few days there have been lots
of job ads around on lists.

Sorry to appear spammy, but It may be of interest to see what jobs are
around.

Subject: [melbourne-pug] python developer wanted - telco
To: Melbourne Python Users Group <melbourne-pug at python.org>

We are seeking an individual interested in developing Python code in a
Telco network engineering environment (some of it is real-time), full time,
fixed term, CBD. The kind of interfaces range from cracking raw UDP ctypes
style to querying backend SQL DBs. While there is a target list of
strategic interfaces, the (small) team is frequently called on to provide
tactical solutions.

There may be an opportunity to further develop a CherryPy app. Skills in
R, while not a prerequisite, would open up other possibilities.

Please note that the arrangement would have to be via one of our preferred
suppliers.

If you want to find out more, please contact me off list.

regards
