[Borgbackup] The Windows version that used to be

In Chocolatey (a package manager and package repository for Windows), 
someone used to provide a package for BorgBackup [0] a few years ago, 
but it ceased being updated, and was removed. What's the story behind 
this package? Did BorgBackup for Windows use to be in a state fit for 
release, or was this packaging premature, and should better not have 
been done?
