If you do that "ad-hoc", that's rather expensive (slow), especially if
you need multiple runs, because for every run, you'ld have to go through
all archives...

FUSE is usually there on Linux, also on FreeBSD and macOS, but might
need some configuration and docs reading. It's not less expensive than
one run of the above, but at least you only need it once when searching
for stuff.

Another way is to use borg list or borg create --list and dump the
output to files, then search in these files.
