There is no way to transfer archives to another repo yet.

You can just copy the repo as a whole (using e.g. rsync).

But if your repo is not encrypted, that's maybe not an option either for
confidentiality reasons (if the target machine is not under your control).

There is currently no way to switch to encrypted after borg init.

So, the only current options for you are:
- just start a new encrypted repo and use it for new backups
- extract and re-backup your old backups (depending on how many archives
/ how much data you have, this might be time consuming)

Well, the need for such features isn't new, but they are a lot of work
to implement.

Also, they are only useful for one-time usage in specific scenarios,
while other work being done is needed for the frequent/generic use cases.
