[Borgbackup] TMPDIR and "large files"

Hello!

Borg documentation states:

> TMPDIR — where temporary files are stored (might need a lot of
> temporary space for some operations)

How much space can we expect to be required there, and which operations 
are the ones that will require it?

My concern is that I would like to make some of my systems as small as 
possible, but I would like to avoid a surprise of running out of local 
disk space during a normal operation of the system.
