[Baypiggies] Beginner and Intermediate (OOP) courses thru UCSC-Extension

Hello,

I will be teaching two courses through the University of California Santa Cruz - Extension Silicon Valley (in Santa Clara.)  Both courses will be held live, online, via Zoom meetings, and are open to the public.

1) Python Programming for Beginners

This course is designed for absolute beginners - I assume the student has no knowledge of programming in any language.  We'll go over all the basics to get someone started writing small Python programs.  It is probably not appropriate for people on this list, but if you know someone who might be interested, please feel free to forward this message.

2)  Python: Object Oriented Programming

This is an intermediate-level course that's designed for people who have a basic understanding of the Python language, and want to go on to the next level of programming.  It assumes that you have taken an introductory course at UCSC-Extension or elsewhere (or have learned Python on your own), and can write small to medium sized programs in Python.  The course is very hands-on, with lots of sample programs.

This course meets for 8 Mondays 2/6/23 to 4/3/23 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm (no class 2/20).  More information and signup can be found here
