Love the idea of talking about pyvenv if there's time (you mentioned a ton of material). 

If short for time, stuff like virtualenv, pyvenv, buildout, etc. would be my preference as they are more python-specific. 

Less python-specific but interesting to me are vagrant and libvirt.
