[Baypiggies] pyexiv2

I've been trying to make use of this module (pyexiv2) but have discovered
that the syntax described in the tutorial
http://tilloy.net/dev/pyexiv2/doc/release-0.2.0/tutorial.html
is very different to the one that comes with my Ubuntu 10.4 system
/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/pyexiv2.pyc

I've poked around using Google but can't find any other tutorial that
matches my system.

If anyone can point me in a useful direction, it would be greatly
appreciated.
