i think you misunderstand.

i was doing no correcting.

i was observing.

and _trying_ to get others to see the humor in the situation.

i can see that email is not the way to communicate this sort of humor to a larger group.

but, rude?  Not me, not my style.   Playful?  Funny?  Joyful?  Guilty!
