People talk about Pythonicity and one of the ways to quantify it is to
say that "something is Pythonic if the more experienced Pythonistas use
it". The features that are used by the old timers are likely to be
optimised more than the others. Because of this, timeit is a good rule
of thumb to figure out whether something is pythonic or not.
