[AstroPy] pyspeckit query

Hi Peters,
     That section of pyspeckit is under-documented.  I can perhaps help
figure out a problem if you describe your use case more directly, as Peter
Teuben suggested.  It would be best to continue this conversation via a
github issue, which may bring other contributors into the discussion.
