[AstroPy] Photometric magnitude to flux conversion code?

Are you familiar with pysynphot? That uses a synthetic photometry approach to such conversions, but I wasn't sure what kind of conversion you were thinking of. We are working now on porting pysynphot to astropy, but is is currently available as part of stsci_python (but not well documented).
