[AstroPy] Astrononomy for the PC :(for Python?)

I figured that probably they hadn't used Python in any of their
editions, but hoped that maybe they or someone had a Python version
stuck away somewhere. I'm currently borrowing the FORTRAN version of the
book. It looks to me like that some of the software they provide can be
found in some math libraries. I see the book has the authors e-mail
addresses, so I'll contact them directly.
How is it that when you post to this list that I do not see
astropy at scipy.org in your header?
