Data Scientist - Sports Modeling (F/T - Direct-hire only)

Job Description

• Work closely with other data scientists, reporting analysts, and cross departmental directors to test business flows, make business recommendations, and provide novel business insights to leadership focused on driving revenue growth, optimizing marketing efficiency and optimizing retention efforts.
• Data cleaning operations, wrangling and visualizations.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Requirements

• USA resident candidate only
• 2+ years of experience
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning, data analysis and statistical modeling.*
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical software applications, such as Python or R.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Data visualization and report building experience is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
