• Develop software solutions for the collection, management, analysis and presentation of data from research projects using new and open technology and methodology
• Maintain and further develop existing scripts and software solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for a person who has:

• relevant education from university or college
• good experience with development in Python
• experience with Docker containers and git
• commitment, curiosity and ability to absorb knowledge quickly
• good communication skills

In addition, it would be nice if you have experience or knowledge of any of the following:

• PostgreSQL
• Bash and GNU/Linux
• Frontend development
• Django framework
• Spatial software, tools and standards

Little experience can be offset by good basic skills and great commitment.

NINA is an independent foundation that researches nature and the interaction between nature and society. NINA was established in 1988, and have more than 300 employees. The headquarters is located in Trondheim near NTNU at Gløshaugen, with branches in Tromsø, Lillehammer, Bergen and Oslo. In addition, NINA owns and runs the aquatic research station for wild fish at Ims in Rogaland and the arctic fox breeding center at Oppdal.
