    This position is for a Fulltime Employee to be located onsite in Plano, TX offices only, No remote option, C2C or contract roles

Team Overview

The FICC Emerging Markets business operates across the globe with on-shore sales and trading operations across Latin America, CEEMEA and Asia. The Global Emerging Markets technology group is responsible for the development and on-going support of the systems required for the smooth running of this complex global business, systems ranging from pricing and execution to risk management and regulatory reporting.

Required Skills: •Software Engineering or Computer Science background •Degree level education •Fixed income background – Highly Desired •Proficient in Python: •Python as primary coding language(experience working with tornado/web sockets/messaging middleware) •Experience working with no-sql DBs •Strong in data structures and algorithms •Candidates Requiring VISA sponsorship will not be considered for this role

Non-Acceptable: Any other language(C++, C#, Java) as primary and python/ruby/perl used on the side (unit tests, etc.)

The ideal candidate for the role is a software developer with python coding experience focused on back-end functionalities aligned with no-SQL data-stores (Hadoop/HDFS/Sandra). The professional will be expected to design, develop and deploy new features as well as provide active production support for the same. The candidate should be comfortable working closely with developers in multiple different regions as well as business users to gather requirements, feedbacks, propose solutions and coordinate changes. The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working with Python in a production environment; be familiar no-relational databases (Apache Hadoop/HDFS, MongoDB, etc..); have experience working and building out service oriented platforms (micro-service architecture design is a plus) and have basic understanding of banking products (Derivatives, FX and Fixed Income) / banking processes (Trade life-cycles, portfolio management, risk and profit-and-loss P&L);

Desired Skills:

HADOOP/HDFS experience is a plus
