Job TitleSecurity Architect
Our client, a global technology driven hedge fund, is looking for a deeply technical Security Architect to help develop and implement policies and standards, among other things, that are critical to their operational security. Working closely with their InfoSec specialists, systems administrators, and software engineers, the Security Architect would be responsible for driving the secure design of the firm’s core infrastructure and software. Excellent opportunity for an expert security engineer to direct the way they develop and deploy software. Serving as subject matter expert on information security topics; providing technical guidance and support to a variety of large-scale projects across the company.
This is a hands on architecture role, and they would ideally like software development experience with Python and C++ so you can roll u[p your sleeves and code.
Would be to develop and lead their technical security risk assessment and secure design practice. Enhance information security policies and standards for infrastructure and software. Lead and execute large, cross-functional security projects. Perform security reviews of their hardware and software solutions (third-party and proprietary). Identify the need for new controls, and lead their design and implementation.

Technical Experience and Knowledge:
>4+ years of progressive experience in computing and information security. >Software development experience (Python & C++) with a focus on secure configuration and hardening. >Proficient with at least three of the following domains: Network Security, Linux and Windows Security, Software Security, Cloud Security and Cryptography. >Experience with security design of complex architectures, threat modelling, and data protection. >Knowledge of emerging attacks, and mitigation methods and best practices. >Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
