Job Description


We have ongoing and regular project work adding new functionality to our existing python-centric systems. This area of work largely involves collecting and computing data points from various online sources. As such, activities include web scraping, interfacing with APIs and also having to think outside the box to collect data points not so easily available - which can be challenging.

You will be working with a suite of advanced web based tools all written in Python & Django that we have developed, including; an intelligent reporting system, an AI based threat monitoring & intelligent alert system and proprietary web crawlers. These tools work with data from a variety of sources, analyse and present it in a number of management dashboards and reporting formats. This role is for a minimum of 3 months, with the likelihood of being extended, or becoming semi-regular thereafter.

We're currently using the following technologies, so any knowledge in these areas will be an advantage but not essential: Django, MySQL, Mac OSX, Linux Ubuntu, Puppet, Vagrant, Scikit-Learn et al, AWS

Our offices are located in Mayfair, London. Having the option for you to work now and again from here would be a plus.
