Job Description

Mathspace (mathspace.co) is searching for talented Python developers at various levels of experience to join us in sunny Sydney, Australia over the next few months. Sponsorship/work visa can be provided if needed.

You'll be working directly with the founders and be given every opportunity to build on your already outstanding Python/Django and database skills to build a scalable adaptive learning algorithm.

Only a few people actually get an opportunity to make a difference. Fewer people, still, have the drive to do it. Out of those few we’re looking for the best.

The role will involve anything and everything back-end with a strong focus on our StepSmart Mathematical engine and our Adaptive Learning Algorithm. Imagine a world where every student gets delivered a learning experience based on their ability, their learning style and their progress. With our back-end step-by-step approach we have the opportunity to do this like no one has done it before and we need you to help put this in place.

What you will need: Python 3 Django Git/GitHub PostgreSQL

Bonus Points if you have: Sympy Scikit-learn AWS Django REST Framework Redis JavaScript/ReactJS HTML/CSS Mathematics background
