Hi!

After I installed Python 2.3.2 in my Windows 98 SE
(Version 4.10.2222 A), I've got problems with the
library msvcirt.dll (or msvcrt.dll, whatever).

The problem is exactly described in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=296551

Uninstalling Python did not resolve the problem, so I
copied a spare msvcirt.dll (and only this file) to
c:\windows\system and it looks everything works now.

If you have any questions, send me an e-mail at
cnakanda_at_fee.unicamp.br.

This is certainly a duplicate of bug 818029, although the
symptoms are somewhat different.
