Accepted with minor revisions:
* Moved parenthetical to separate sentence
* \code{k} should have been \var{k}
* Fixed existing misspelling of 'ommitted'

If there was a "Check to Upload and Attach a File" option in 
the bug section (like it used to), I would gladly post there the 
patch; but I don't see one anymore, logged in as tzot.  
Perhaps somebody has set the permissions so that patches of 
lay-developers :) go to patches and not to the bugs section...
