It was only working for direct connections. I'm still having trouble
accept()ing a connection through SOCKS... I'm getting:
*cmd* 'PORT 148,57,162,35,8,18'
*resp* '200 PORT command successful.'
*cmd* 'RETR 04.23.58.Connolly'
*resp* "425 Can't build data connection: Connection timed out."
