[XML-SIG] Python stdlib, pyxml, 4suite?

Could someone explain how the python standard library, pyxml and 4suite all fit together (or
refer me to a url to read about an overview of the different package integration)

I've been using xml.sax from the Python 2.2 base install, but I'm not sure
how the pyxml and 4suite packages fit in the "big" picture of XML parsing and which package
is used in the base Python install.
