I think that's a great idea. There is a decent article about JDOM here

P.S. Not that I think you would need to read it. <wink> But others, like
myself, who aren't as familiar with JDOM might appreciate it.

I think we really need to come up with a better alt to DOM (this is another
topic that frequently comes up).  Sort of a Pythonic JDOM.

As Guido rightly says "DOM sucks".
