Initial Comment:
XML Document and Domlette objects are not 
interchangeble for the xml.xslt.Processor api.
(versions: 4Suite-0.11.1b2, PyXML-0.6.5 and Python 
2.1)
I included a small example program (30 or so lines) 
that fully demonstrates the problem.
