[XML-SIG] Error building XML Package

Hello

I am trying to build the 0.6.2  XML Package on Solaris 7, Python V1.5.1 and
get this
module error.

Traceback (innermost last):
  File "setup.py", line 8, in ?
   from distutils.core import setup, Extension
ImportError: No module named distutils.core

Seems I don't have this module.   Can I build it or do I need to re-install
Python again
from start?
