[XML-SIG] xml.apache.org

Announcements about the new http://xml.apache.org site have been
flying around.  One piece of software is the Xerces-C validating XML
parser, which is, despite the name, written in C++.  It seems to be
IBM's C++ XML parser.

What's interesting is that the Xerces-Perl support is implemented on
top of Xerces-C.  Usually wrapping C++ interfaces into a scripting
language requires tricky contortions, but perhaps Xerces has an
API that's more suited for wrapping.  Does anyone have experience with
it?
