I'm not sure what you mean by that, however,
if you mean reset the IDLE shell back to square
one there is a menu option to restart the shell.
Shell->Restart Shell.

If you mean the command line interpreter the
easiest (and most reliable) way is just exit
and restart.

If you mean something else you will need to
explain.
