Hi! I'm also learning Python as my 'native' language. I'd suggest "Learning Python" from O'Reilly. Be warned, though. Skip over parts that discuss other languages or find someone who can explain what they're talking about in the discussions of C and Perl. There's also a tutorial at the python website (www.python.org) for beginning programmers that helped me quite a bit. Pax, Jen
