The Center for Open Science (COS) is a Python-centric non-profit in 
Charlottesville, VA that develops an open source and hosted scientific 
data management system called Open Science Framework:

COS is coming to Chapel Hill this week to give a job fair at the Friday 
Center on Thursday:

COS are coming to Chapel Hill on Wednesday and would like to have dinner 
and drinks that night with anyone who'd like to come talk about Python, 
science, and/or open source with them:

COS will also be coming to our Thursday night meeting in Raleigh. COS 
would like to hire three new Python developers who are passionate about 
open source to come work at their Charlottesville location. They will be 
available to meet with you both before and after the meeting. If you'd 
like to get paid to produce open source software, here is your opportunity.
